Notes

Based upon the 1996 film of the same name. Fargo follows a similar format to American Horror Story and True Detective in that each season features a different set of characters, is set in a different time period, and follows a different story arc.

Martin Freeman co-starred in Season 1 concurrent with his work on Sherlock and the Hobbit films. Ted Danson appeared concurrent with his starring role on CSI.

Seasons 1 and 2 were filmed in Calgary, Canada.

23skidoo 2nd Nov 2015		My brother works at a business not far from where they were filming in Calgary and he mentioned he'd often see guys from the show drop by including sometimes the actors. Lucky him. There's been some serious mixed messages whether season 3 is being shot in Calgary or elsewhere; not long ago they held a major auction of props from the show, but given each season is a different set of characters, etc that doesn't mean anything.
