23skidoo 24th Jun 2015		@Monolith. Yeah, that pretty much describes him. Though to be fair there was a similar character in the Toho films, in Son of Godzilla and at least one other, so they weren't' necessarily being unfaithful to the source material. They just made him super annoying.

Monolith 24th Jun 2015		So was Godzuki to Godzilla the same as Scrappy Doo to Scobby Doo, an annoying and pointless side kick?



23skidoo 24th Jun 2015		Is that the right spelling of the little guy's name? I always thought it was Godzooky. Speaking of which, Godzuki/Godooky was the bane of my existence when I was a kid. Here was Godzilla, a cool looking show about a monster dinosaur with what could have been one of the best cartoon theme songs EVER. Until they get to the point where the song goes pear shaped with "...and God-zoooo-keeeeeee..." and the silly music kicks in.
