TV Series
Notes Considered one of the most controversial series ever shown on UK TV, Heil Honey I'm Home! was intended to be a satire of US sitcoms, with the premise being that the network had uncovered the "lost tapes" of a legendary US sitcom about Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun, set in 1937. An uncertain number of episodes were produced, possibly as many as 8 (though Wikipedia says 11, with some cast information known about unaired episodes, including the fact Fairman only appeared as Braun in the first episode), but due to the show's controversial subject matter, the series is one of the relative few in TV history to be cancelled after a single episode, which ironically aired immediately following an episode of Dad's Army.
