We can't list everyone but I went though an online cast list and added a few names, including at least one "bet ya didn't know he was in it" entry for Julian "Dr. Doom"/"Nip/Tuck" McMahon. I wonder if Danni Minogue was in H&A at the same time her sister was doing Neighbours?

I continue to watch it only because the network isn't producing any other drama or comedy, just putrid "reality(contrived)" shows.... Ugh!

Not all the time, though, occasionally they cut the Thursday night show back to half-an-hour.

@23Skiddoo, it's a daily programme, though these days it airs from 7.00 to 7.30 pm Monday to Wednesday, then 7.00 to 8.00pm Thursdays on Station ATN-Sydney and affiliated capital city stations as well as the Prime network through regional Australia.

This is a daily series (Monday to Friday) I first watched the series when it made its debut back in 1988 but stopped watching in 1999 as the story lines go so ridiculous

@RC Is this a daily series or a weekly? For some reason I had it in my mind that this is a daily series which would probably give it too many episodes for DVD like the US soaps (Dark Shadows being a notable exception).

Did you know Ray Meagher played a baddie in the television series called prisoner

Ah yes... in the UK known as "Prisoner Cell Block H"! Actually Ralph was pretty good in that part and the character returned some time later so he had two spells in the show.

Les Hill, Kate Ritchie and Dieter Brummer all starred in varying series of the excellent Aussie crime drama Underbelly too.

RC, Ray M. has had an active career, once having played the role of Fred Daly, left-wing ALP stalwart in the ABC mini-series, "True Believers". So he hasn't exactly been out of work for much of his career - he's one of our best character actors, along with Martin Vaughan, Simon Chilvers and Geoff Morell.

It is rumoured that Kate Ritchie made a sex tape... :erk:

That was going around in the 90's... I knew a couple of geezers who were... er... "interested" in it, but from what I've read it's all rather blurry and not really possible to tell if it is Kate or not!

The only reason this started getting screened in the UK was simply ITV - as usual - having a lack of ideas. They saw "Neighbours" was doing well on the BBC so snapped up this to get a slice of the action figuring we'd all want two Aussie soaps.

My gran used to watch it (and Neighbours... and Crossroads... and Corrie... I think she liked her soaps!) hence I saw it a few times on visits back in the days when Kate was pretty much still a kid and remember one storyline which had Pippa consoling her and telling her there was nothing shameful about starting to wear a bra... unfortunately that, and Marilyn constantly grinning, wibbling about and talking in that idiot voice is pretty much all I remember of it... oh and Alf grumping and grumbling about stuff... blimey, he must be kicking on a bit now.

Geez, Nboldock! It'd take me as long as the series has run here to research them all, and to answer Zabadak.... er, no! Our Kate wouldn't stoop that low... Tsk, tsk!

Is the cast list based on episodes currently screening on British TV? Ray Meagher is the only original cast member remaining in the series, Emily Symons, who is not an original as she wasn't in episode 1, has returned to the series off and on and her character, Marilyn Chambers is now married to John Palmer, played by ex-Country Practice star, Shane Whittington. Melissa George, Les Hill and Dieter Brummer are long gone from this series as of more than 20 years ago.
