Notes

Series title was changed to Making a Living for season 2, after which it was initially cancelled in 1982 after two seasons. Several years later, after the series became a surprise hit in syndication, production resumed (under the title It's a Living once again) for first-run syndication, with four more seasons produced. The show's return was overshadowed by star Ann Jillian's real-life battle with breast cancer and she ultimately left the series in 1986 to focus on her health.
