Notes

Hanna-Barbera's first TV series featuring straight action-adventure-based animation (as opposed to cartoon humor such as The Flintstones). Originally broadcast in prime time.

Although cancelled after one season, the episodes aired in reruns both in syndication and on network for many years. In 1986 new episodes were produced as a segment of The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera series. Later followed by a remake, The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest.

Child actor Matheson later went on to star in series such as The West Wing.

Very much so I gather nearly all Australia had colour television as the old BW television was moved into the living room

Remember this from when I was about 10 to 12 years old(thereabouts) Station NBN-Newcastle(Australia) used to run it in an afternoon timeslot. I think they also ran it some years later in colour when Australian TV had switched to colour broadcasting. I was well out of my teens by then and the show no longer appealed to me. I remember several episodes having a supernatural theme.
