Numerous cast members went on to notoriety in music and acting, some under different names: Stacy Ferguson (the longest-serving cast member with six seasons due to the show's high turnover as the kids aged out of the series) later became Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas; Marta Marrero adopted the stage name Martika and scored several hit records and later acted under this name. Hewitt was credited as Love Hewitt during her time on the show.

23skidoo 6th Jul 2015		I remember watching this show a lot when I was a kid (I had a bit of a crush on Marta/Gloria), and I had no idea she went on to become Martika. (The name is not overly well known today but she was pretty popular in the late 80s and had a recurring role for a while on the crime series Wiseguy.) The one that blows my mind though is the fact Stacy went on to become Fergie.
