Notes

Long-running (14 seasons) sketch comedy series inspired by Mad Magazine. Preceded in 1980 by the unsuccessful comedy film Mad Magazine Presents Up the Academy. Followed in 2010 by Mad, an animated series also based on the magazine but unrelated to Mad TV.

The original series ran from 1995 to 2009 on Fox. Returned to TV with several original cast members on The CW in 2016
