@Neil. No worries, and now we have High Chaparral added to the list!

Sorry 'bout that! I had another "Maxwell Smart Moment" there (missed it by tha-a-a-at much!) but at least I got Cameron Mitchel right with his High Chaparral part.

Milner wasn't in CHiPs - that show came a few years later and he was never in it. You're thinking of Adam-12 which is where I know him from. The Mitchell show as High Chaparral which I see is missing from the list so I'll try and add it if I can track down a title screen for it. I remember Cameron Mitchell quite well as he was a regular visitor to my hometown of Saskatoon, Canada because he married into a prestigious family here so until he died Saskatoon enjoyed a bit of Hollywood glamor from time to time when he'd bring his buddies like Dean Martin up for a visit.

I distinctly remember the Martin Milner version(Milner formerly of "CHiPS) and Cameron Mitchell in the show as well(formerly of "High Chapporal" - guessing at spelling). And I remember the show airing on NBN in Newcastle, a year or so after its US run.

Noting Neil's comments about there being confusion between the two versions of Swiss Family Robinson in the mid-70s (understandable because they came out back to back), here are the opening credits to the US version. I have also added a video to the Canadian show's listing so they can be compared:

Interesting this series must have been rushed released to Australia as it as shown here alongside another show that had a star trek theme to it I can't recall what it was

Interestingly enough, this production made it onto Australian TV station schedules where the other version was not seen here at all(to my best knowledge). Had to adjust my comments after checking the origin of the series. Initially I took this to be the Canadian version. Oops!

Fans of the Canadian Swiss Family Robinson series have this show to blame for the earlier series being cancelled (I believe it was felt the series had no chance at US sales with this bigger-budgeted version available). This show is probably best remembered for the odd casting of the guy from Adam-12 as the father, and for featuring an early appearance by future film star Helen Hunt.
