Loved this! And the original! And both versions of The Outer Limits!

@Monolith. Yes the John Lithgow one was pretty dire. H.

Never bothered with the remakes, just held firm with the original series.
Couldn't be bettered IMO.

The best one I think was this or the Outer Limits. Was William Shatner In the Gremlin. Unforgettable for the "There's Something On The Wing" Brilliantly done by Jim Carrey. In Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. H.

While not overall as interesting as the original, there were still a number of very good episodes made of this version, and to its credit I don't believe they ever remade any of the original series stories (unlike the 2002 version) but I might be wrong. Among my favorites was "Shatterday", an adaptation of a Harlan Ellison story featured in the pilot TV movie and featuring a pre-stardom (and I believe pre-Moonlighting) Bruce Willis and "A Message to Charity" which was a sweet romance about two people who become psychically linked over time, which starred a pre-Star Trek Voyager Robert Duncan McNeill.

Useless trivia: Robin Ward, narrator of the Canadian-made episodes, played Garth in the infamous 1970s series The Starlost.
