One of the most successful Canadian-produced late-night talk shows, managing to survive six seasons until Bullard left CTV to start The Mike Bullard Show, a similar program, on Global (which was cancelled after only a few months). CTV, meanwhile, replaced it with US import The Daily Show. IMDb erroneously says the series ended in 2004.

The series aired on CTV as well as the CTV-owned cable network The Comedy Network and was also one of the first major Canadian series to be streamed online. At the height of its popularity, the network relocated the show from a studio set up behind a restaurant owned by Wayne Gretzky to a converted Masonic temple.
