 Jackson Beck as Brutus (voice)

Notes

Original made-for-TV cartoon shorts following on from the popular theatrical cartoons. The original film voice actors returned for the TV version.

The character of Bluto from the cartoons was renamed Brutus for the TV series, apparently due to a misunderstanding over who owned the rights to the character name (according to Wikipedia the name change was actually unnecessary).

220 episodes were produced and released to syndication over a two-year period. A new series of Popeye cartoons, titled The All-New Popeye Hour, followed in 1978.
