A reporter uses his psychic abilities to solve crimes.

The series debuted shortly after the release of the cult horror film Scanners, in which Del Grande played the man whose head explodes in the film's most iconic sequence.

Several years after the show's cancellation, it was rebroadcast by the Canadian cable network Showcase. The broadcasts were controversial due to the network's insistence on airing a politically correct disclaimer advising viewers of the show (at this point only about five years old) that interpersonal relationships were depicted on TV differently in years past. Mocking media coverage resulted in the swift discontinuation of the disclaimer.

23skidoo 1st Sep 2015		@Neil It was actually quite an acclaimed series in Canada, and it ran for a number of years. The university crowd really cottoned on to it because beyond the sitcommy premise it was actually a very intelligent show. Its only downfall was it was made during a period when Canadian TV production values were not the best. The biggest shocker is that Del Grande - who was one of the biggest names in Canadian TV at the time, and also was famous for being the guy whose head gets blown up by Michael Ironside in the original Scanners - was actually an American!
