Notes

Localized Canadian spin-off of the US series Sesame Street. Between 1972 and 1996, the CBC network produced Canadian content that would be inserted into its broadcasts of the US series. The amount of this content steadily increased until 1981 when half of any given Sesame Street episode featured localized content; at this point the series was retitled Canadian Sesame Street by the CBC. In 1996, the CBC decided to drop the original series and produce a half-hour Canadian version, with minimal content from the US original. The series received mixed reviews and it was reported that many families chose to watch the US version on cable, resulting in Sesame Park being cancelled in 2001.

A major difference between Sesame Park and Sesame Street was the lack of non-Muppet regular cast members.

23skidoo 30th Jun 2015		The title screen used here comes from the Muppet Wiki as it's the only version of the on-screen logo I could find anywhere. (Unlike Sesame Street, Sesame Park isn't as well regarded, or archived it seems). If borrowing an image from a wiki is considered improper, please feel free to remove the image without fear of argument from me. In putting this listing together I had to weed out extra information from various sources that tend to roll the 1972-1996 era, when the CBC aired the US Sesame Street with Canadian inserts, together with Sesame Park series, but I consider them to be two entirely different (if related) shows, so I just concerned myself with the 1996-2001 version.
