Apparently this show was massively syndicated worldwide during its run. Just for fun I was checking out out what TV show was airing on local TV at the time I was born in 1969 in Saskatoon, Canada (we only had one channel at the time) - and it was this show. But by the time I was old enough to actually watch TV, it had vanished from my neck of the woods.

Kangaroos are extremely "thick" animals and the had a hell of a job getting the various "beasts" to do what they wanted them to do!
No Kangaroo would ever behave like the ones in the show!

@Zabadak, you cruel beast! Poor little Skippy is shaking like a leaf at the thought of ending up on your dinner plate! Ha-ha!

One day, Sonny Hammond was in Sydney, with Skippy coming along for the ride, of course. It was around lunch time and Sonny, feeling a bit peckish, visited an Asian restaurant. Ordering a plate of food he'd have some and feed some to Skippy.... but poor old Skippy's digestive system couldn't handle it and she was throwing up in the gutter out front of the restaurant. A passing stranger sees this and asks what was wrong with her, to which Sonny replied... wait for it.... "Thai's got my kangaroo down, sport!" Ha-ha!

Tsk.... tsk... tsk...tsk...tsk...tsk...tsk... What's that, Skip? You're trying to live the quiet life in retirement and reference to your starring role keeps popping up on 45Worlds? And you're hoppin' mad about it? Can't blame ya!

I don't remember him in Prisoner, RC. NBN stopped showing the series because of the "brain-fart" called regional TV market aggregation and NRTV never got to his episodes because they were several episodes ahead of Sydney but decided suddenly to show the episodes that TEN-Sydney were screening, a backward-jump of nearly two years-worth of episodes. I gave up watching when they did that.

If Terrey Hills was unable to meet Bonney Hills, is that because there was a mountain(or two) between them? Ha-ha

For those outside Australia, Terrey Hills is an outer-northern suburb of Sydney NSW while Bonney Hills is a town just south of Port MacQuarie.(deliberately spelled with an upper-case Q as names starting with Mc or Mac should always have an uppercase letter following the 'c' = McX, MacX - X is the variant.)
