Notes

Continuation of the Star Trek TV franchise after a 12-year hiatus; preceded by Star Trek: Enterprise. Like Enterprise, it is a prequel, set approximately 10 years before the events of Star Trek: The Original Series, in the original timeline. The first episode aired on CBS, followed by weekly uploads on the CBS All Access streaming service (though some regions, such as Canada, receive weekly broadcasts).

23skidoo 25th Oct 2020		@carryonsidney To each their own. I consider it the worst, though so far as I write this Season 3 has been a marked improvement. EDIT: Well, until the last few episodes when everything fell apart and some aspects of the S3 finale suggest the writers got the USS Discovery confused with the TARDIS from Doctor Who. It's that level of sloppiness that turns a lot of people off.

23skidoo 26th Sep 2017		I just listed the cast indicated as being the main cast members. A few other characters appear in the first two episodes but it's unclear whether they're meant to be ongoing or not. Edit: Updated to include a few more names that have become regulars. One character credit was omitted intentionally (Voq) because to do so right now would actually constitute a plot spoiler for a show that's still brand-new to a lot of people.
