 I've always been amused by the fact they were able to get away with calling one of their main characters The Doctor. By rights they should not have as the use of "The Doctor" as a character name (especially in a science fiction series made for television with international distribution) has been tied up with Doctor Who since 1963, but what I think happened was the character was originally named Dr. Zimmerman before they decided to make his search for a name a subplot (and introduce his human creator named Dr. Zimmerman), so I think they somehow got into a grandfather clause or something. It makes writing Doctor Who/Voyager crossover fanfics complicated, I'm sure!

In the "whatever happened to" department, you often see McNeill and Dawson's names on TV credits as both went on to become active TV-series directors. I think they both even directed episodes of Voyager at one time or another.

 it always amused me that they appointed a woman as Captain, and the very first thing she did was get them lost!

:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

I never thought of that, just told the missus what you said and I got one hell of a look.

 I dunno. Maybe I'm an old die-hard MCP, but it always amused me that they appointed a woman as Captain, and the very first thing she did was get them lost! <GD&R>
