23skidoo 4th Nov 2021		This is old news for those familiar with Supermarionation lore, but for anyone searching the name, the face of lead character Troy Tempest was based upon that of American actor James Garner. I think Atlanta's face was vaguely modelled after her voice actress, Lois Maxwell, too. I think Marina's was based on Brigitte Bardot, but don't quote me on that (except to correct me!).

biffbampow 23rd May 2015		The main title tune is superb but I always loathed that "Aqua Marina" ballad... always makes me cringe with it's gooey visuals as well. I loved this as a kid (surprising how good ITV used to be in the afternoons!) but when I revisited this show a few years ago, I couldn't take much of it giving up after just three episodes. Just a personal thing I suppose, but didn't do it for me any more.
