Selected CastGale Gordon as Harvey Box
 Bob Sweeney as Gilmore Box
 Barbara Billingsley as Barbara
Ann Morriss as Dr. Margaret Kleeb

Notes

The show followed the story of the Box Brothers owning a photography company in San Francisco. Gale played Harvey with a character much like he played on Our Miss Brooks and Bob played Gilmore, who was more naive and shy. Both had girlfriends with very close personalities to their boyfriends.
The show is noted for the character of Andy for being one of the first TV characters never seen on air. He worked and the darkroom and although we heard him, we never saw him.

The show was filmed at Desilu Studios in from of a live audience. The show was sponsored by Proctor and Gamble, The American Tobacco Company, Shaeffer Fountain Pens and Lever Brothers. Airing Tuesday Nights at 8:30 on CBS from October 2, 1956 to March 26, 1957 and were canceled after 26 episodes. Six episodes were rebroadcast in the summer of 58 on alternating weeks with Bachelor Father.

@Joyful Jukebox Very odd indeed that the series would be almost lost since it was made by Desilu, the studio that more or less invented the concept of filming live-audience shows for archival and syndication purposes (and they clearly held on to it till 1958 for rebroadcasts). I'm willing to bet it might have been due to an archive fire, which is I believe why only one season of the mid-60s sitcom My Living Doll has survived. Or the episodes were junked for tax or legal reasons (there's precedent for that, including at least one film directed by Charlie Chaplin).

This show was very funny. Sadly only two episodes of this series are still known to exist which is quite odd for a series on film and not broadcast live. Here's a clip from the third episode to air “Renting The Attic” (Aired: 10/16/56).

Here's the opening credits (note: the YouTube channel that posted it was named after one of the characters).
