Produced in an era when story arcs were rare in US network TV shows and syndicated reruns were often aired in random order, The Fugitive is considered one of the first US prime-time series to air a definitive finale episode, concluding its ongoing arc. The finale episode remained one of the highest-rated episodes in US TV history for many years.

Inspired numerous similar TV series including the TV version of Planet of the Apes, Otherworld, Hot Pursuit and a remake series aired during the 2000-2001 season. The most popular adaptation however was the Oscar-winning 1993 film starring Harrison Ford as Kimble and Tommy Lee Jones as Gerard; a sequel focusing on Gerard titled US Marshalls, followed in 1998.

YankeeDisc SUBS ● 9th Feb 2017		Back in the mid 60s, Mods would adorn their Lambretta or Vespa scooters flyscreens with the legend "KIMBLE IS INNOCENT"..................yep I was there.



23skidoo 10th Jun 2015		William Conrad narrated the openings of many shows, but I list him as a cast member as his narration was very much a part of the series, especially its finale.
