23skidoo 25th Jun 2015		But I also see a UK DVD release as The Hitchhiker. Just in case TV Rage got its info from IMDb do we know of another source? Notably Wikipedia does not mention the title. The best case scenario is if someone can come up with a title screen capture!

23skidoo 25th Jun 2015		For some reason the IMDb is listing this series under the title Deadly Nightmares. As I mention in the notes, I tried but could not find any source other then the IMDb that mentions this. This was one of the first major hit original shows to come out of the "first wave" of made-for-cable programming that arose in the mid-1980s. The cable version of the show had nudity and sex scenes, which was still considered very much a novelty for a TV series in those days.
