Long-running travelogue series produced in Vancouver and initially broadcast locally there before being syndicated across Canada. The original run in the early 1960s consisted of about 39 episodes, however the series was again in production during the mid-1970s. Koehler, who died in 2010, shouldn't be confused with the German politician of the same name.

23skidoo 5th Dec 2017		I remember loving this travel show as a kid. I don't remember if Koehler ever actually went on screen to the places he described as - at least in the 1970s version - he just presented film and still images while sitting in front of a green screen, though I remember the opening credits featured him walking along some exotic beach. It usually aired either on Sunday afternoons or late at night. EDIT: Clearly I only saw a certain "era" of the show, as I've read articles from the early 70s that express how he filmed a lot of amazing things in his travels.
