Monolith 30th May 2015		That's very true, the character changed dramatically.



23skidoo 30th May 2015		Never mind the cat, such a cool CAR! I always wanted one of those! An interesting piece of trivia about the Inspector segment of the show. The character was obviously based on Insp. Clouseau however some elements of the character associated with Peter Sellers' version of the character, like the trenchcoat and exaggerated accent actually originated with the cartoon and the Alan Arkin film from 1968! If you look at the first two Sellers films before he stepped away from the character from a decade you'll see he plays Clouseau very differently! Then he comes back in 1975 and he's more like the Arkin and cartoon version!
