@club80audi1 Wow, two shows, that was lucky. We got chosen at random when lined up in the playground. I don't remember a second chance at our school, I was at Kinson School just down the road from you. The details are pretty scant on this series, not much has survived. Was the July show (ticket above) the first one, do you know?
Update note, July 2023: Peeling Banana image added. Found photo online, can't locate any further details as to photographer, date etc

Apologies for the p-poor quality of the photo (Kindle). I found my 1978 ticket squirrelled away inside my (also thought lost) 70s copy of The Incredible Journey paperback.

This series, from Southern TV's Southampton studio was a Saturday morning kids show, similar to, as in a bit mad (but not as good as) Tiswas. It featured a version of the Runaround game, popular as a standalone show at the time. It started early July 1978, when a bunch of us at school were picked at random to travel along from Bournemouth to be on one of the first ones. I do recall Marseille playing live (picked up a badge, promoting the Red, White and Slightly Blue LP) getting autographs from a football team playing outside the studio, a kid called Keith from our school winning a tv (b&w) on Runaround and cornering Melissa Wilkes and a male counterpart presenter. This lad was wearing a hat which he lost when he turned and fled from the mob of kids. For ages in the eighties I was convinced the lad was Graham Fletcher-Cook, but I've never found any mention of him presenting this! Also, there was a massive peeling banana outside, just in case we couldn't find the right studio I suppose......
