Based upon concepts from the 1971 TV movie Sweet, Sweet Rachel, but with different characters and cast.

After cancellation following two seasons and 25 episodes, the episodes of The Sixth Sense were reedited for syndication as part of the unrelated series Night Gallery, whose host Rod Serling recorded new introductions. Originally broadcast in a one-hour timeslot, the episodes have been edited down for a 30-minute version of Night Gallery.
