Produced in 1958, The Veil, a horror/suspense anthology series hosted by Boris Karloff (who also played characters in most episodes) was never broadcast in its original form until the 1990s due to legal and financial issues in the 1950s that prevented the series from being distributed. Prior to the 1990s some episodes were combined to form movies. The series has also been released to DVD under the title Tales of the Unexplained.

A total of 12 episodes were produced, plus a pilot episode that aired as part of the anthology series Telephone Time.

Karloff later hosted the similarly themed series Thriller.

23skidoo 11th Dec 2021		Does anyone know when in the 1990s this was first broadcast? When I first entered this, I put 1958 based upon its production date, but technically the airdate should be whatever year it was first actually aired as a series.
