Series about a man who travelled across the US on his motorcycle and the people he meets. Although often compared to Easy Rider, the series started before that film was released.

Preceded by a TV movie pilot that aired in the spring of 1969. The pilot was released theatrically in Europe with nude scenes added.

Although the series only lasted one season, it became known for its music, including the closing credits song performed by its star, who as the only regular actor in the series.
