Notes

Sketch comedy series in the form of a faux newscast. The format and title are a spoof of the iconic 1960s Canadian series This Hour Has Seven Days. The series has been branded as simply "22 Minutes" since 2009.

With more than 20 seasons airing to date, 22 Minutes is one of the longest-running Canadian comedy series of all time.

Former cast member Rick Mercer went on to host The Rick Mercer Report, a similar series that often airs back-to-back with 22 Minutes.

In early seasons, the cast used fictional names as the new anchors, but as the series progressed this was dropped and now the actors use their real names.
