23skidoo 25th May 2015		Although no new episodes have been produced since 2011 (though Big Finish Productions is launching an audio drama series with Barrowman later this year), technically the series is on hiatus and has not been cancelled by the BBC or Starz, its US broadcaster. Production of further seasons is dependent on producer Russell T Davies, who is currently focusing on non-SF projects such as Cucumber. That said, given there's been no indication of any new season being produced for going on half a decade now, I think we're safe keeping an end date of 2011 on this pending any future announcements. (EDIT: It now being 11 years later, I feel doubly safe, but with RTD now in charge of the Doctor Who franchise again, a revival is again possible a la X-Files. Watch this space?)
