Notes

Originally a radio series that launched early in 1988, it proved so popular a TV version with the same cast was quickly commissioned.
An American version was launched in 1998 using several of the same cast members, most notably Stiles and Mochrie though others such as Lawrence also appeared from time to time. During its final season, the UK series was videotaped in Hollywood on the same set as the US series. The US version ran from 1998 to 2007 and was revived in 2013.

Regular performers included: Ryan Stiles, Josie Lawrence, John Sessions, Tony Slattery, Mike McShane, Colin Mochrie, Sandi Toksvig, Paul Merton, Greg Proops, Chip Esten, Stephen Frost, Jim Sweeney, Steve Steen and Stephen Fry.

Towards to end of the original series' run things sort of bled over into the US version. i believe the final series was actually taped in Hollywood on the ABC set. I've only seen bits of those episodes and it's weird seeing Clive Anderson in the seat associated with Drew Carey. EDIT: I added a few names of other regulars well associated with the show, especially Colin Mochrie (I know there's a list in the Notes but they don't show up when people click on a name).
