Notes

Commissioned as a replacement for The Sarah Jane Adventures when SJA's production was delayed due to the illness of its star Elisabeth Sladen. When Sladen died, Wizards vs Aliens became a permanent replacement for SJA using many of the same writers and crew, though not cast members. Created by Russell T Davies (creator of SJA) and SJA writer Phil Ford.

The series is not part of the Doctor Who franchise, although one episode, "The Thirteenth Floor" was adapted from an unproduced SJA script.

After season 3 concluded in late 2014 the series was placed on indefinite hiatus, with no word as to when or if it will return. 36 episodes were produced.
