I had no idea this existed, if it follows the book closely it should be worth repeating around this time of year?

Turns out I was correct about it being broadcast on a Sunday though.

There is a fansite here if you need further info.

The Ghosts Of Motley Hall (1976 - 1978)
I remember watching this, I think it might have been broadcast on a Sunday for some reason.
The puzzle for me is that I was certain there was a recurring main part for a child character in this programme, but there is no mention of any boy on the IMDB page, the plot conceit given, as only the boy could see the ghosts? ie a central character?

The Tube (1982 - 1987)
You can get a good sense of the show by looking on Youtube for the Bad News clip, remember it was broadcast live, the audience thinking Bad News was a real band...that just played a really bad number then this interview, I was in hysterics at the time..[YouTube Video]

Randall And Hopkirk (Deceased) (1969 - 1970)
I wonder if many of our American friends have twigged yet about how few TV channels there were here in the UK in the 60/70's/80's! ?

This program was endlessly repeated in the South West during the 70's I remember watching it as little lad, one of my favourites.

that reminds me, school uniform protests, there was one at my school [sec. mod.], the ringleaders were all rounded up and given 6 of the best, result no more protest! { circa about 1980}.

Why Don't You? (1973 - 1995)
For some reason I have this programme linked in my memory (mid 70's) with Double Deckers, and I am wondering if that was screened with it or something?
