nboldock ● 5th Jun 2015 | | TVTV Offal (1997 - 1998) | Episode 1... (NSFW)...
Adults only - some of TV Offal was probably pretty offensive to some (the "gay Daleks" spring to mind!) - most of it was hilarious to boot.

nboldock ● 4th Jun 2015 | | TVDead Art (2007) | Obscure but really interesting documentary series presented (rather well) by Twisted Sister's Dee Snider. The series examined architecture and art in the world's cemeteries and graveyards, with each episode visiting a different burial site.
Some really interesting stuff. I particularly enjoyed the episode focusing on Vysehrad Cemetery in Prague, as I've been there myself.
11 episodes (I think).
Over here in the UK it was shown on one of the satellite channels, though I can't remember which one.

nboldock ● 2nd Jun 2015 | | TVFollyfoot (1971 - 1973) | It was repeated some years later, as I saw it...must have been Sunday mornings as I seem to recall watching it at my Nan's house, and I used to stay there on Saturday night's. Would have been early 80s at some point.

nboldock ● 28th May 2015 | | TVA Touch Of Cloth (2012 - 2014) | We absolutely loved these. I laughed so much it was almost painful.
nboldock ● 27th May 2015 | | TVNathan Barley (2005) | "Peace and ****ing... BELIEVE!"
An underrated classic.
nboldock ● 25th May 2015 | | TVGamesmaster (1992 - Now) | No idea what on earth to put as the genre for this one. Do we need a general "Entertainment" category?
nboldock ● 25th May 2015 | | TVWalking The Nile (2015) | It's an excellent series. It also has a genuinely shocking occurrence that left me totally stunned.
nboldock ● 24th May 2015 | | TVThe Affair (2014 - 2019) | Screening in the UK starting May 2015 on Sky Atlantic. Shown in the US on Showtime.
nboldock ● 24th May 2015 | | TVStarsky & Hutch (1975 - 1979) | When I was a young lad my Mum met a chap called George who kept pigeons (years later they are still side by side - Mum and George, not the pigeons) and after a while my brother and I wanted pigeons too, so after building a loft, George gave us two pigeons to get started with... we called them Starsky and Hutch!
I can't remember what happened to Starsky (a red checker) but I do remembet that Hutch (a blue bar) caught canker and we had to unceremoniously murder the poor sod.
nboldock ● 24th May 2015 | | TVHome And Away (1988 - Now) | Les Hill, Kate Ritchie and Dieter Brummer all starred in varying series of the excellent Aussie crime drama Underbelly too.
nboldock ● 23rd May 2015 | | TVUnder The Dome (2013 - 2015) | I gave up on this one midway through series two. It had its moments but just wasn't working for me. The book, however (which the TV series is based on but doesn't mirror) is brilliant - read that instead!
nboldock ● 23rd May 2015 | | TVRoger Mellie: The Man On The Telly (1991) | I've just re-watched episode one (there were only four) on YouTube - very funny indeed!

nboldock ● 23rd May 2015 | | TVCountdown (1982 - Now) | I was on this, many many many moons ago... won 1, then lost the second match (which I should have won).
nboldock ● 23rd May 2015 | | TVNighty Night (2004 - 2005) | The darkest of dark comedies. I thought it was wonderful.
nboldock ● 23rd May 2015 | | TVHome And Away (1988 - Now) | A friend of mine says it's definitely Kate on that tape. Sorry Neil.
Anyway... let's move on!

nboldock ● 22nd May 2015 | | TVVincent (2005 - 2006) | Can't find the titles for this one. So have used a pic of big Ray in the title role instead for now.

nboldock ● 22nd May 2015 | | TVHunderby (2012) | Very, very funny black comedy (parodying costume drama) from the ever-reliable pen of Julia Davis.

nboldock ● 20th May 2015 | | TVNorth Square (2000 - 2001) | Top notch legal drama that ran for one ten-part series on Channel 4 in 2000-2001.
Poor viewing figures unfortunately consigned it to the bin. Shame.

nboldock ● 20th May 2015 | | TVCracker (1993 - 2006) | I recently re-watched every one of the original episodes when they were repeated on ITV3. Still mesmerisingly brilliant. Never bettered. My favourite story has to be "To Say I Love You" with the manic performance by Andrew Tierney as Shaun Kerrigan. Outstanding.
