I did a little research and it looks like the one line sleeve was issued with the earliest Phonogram issues. The B&C marketing information was simply removed.
When the Phonogram marketing information was added they also changed the Charisma scroll logo to the Mad Hatter.
I have moved your image to its appropriate chronological position.

Yes the blue-silver Philips-label edition was first. Same thing with the Nursery Crime German first edition. [Mod: changed date for this edition]

This issue would appear to date from 1972 as the Charisma label wasn't launched in Germany until then.

This was originally issued on Philips with the same catalogue number.

Finally managed to find a Virgin distributed copy. I knew they should be out there somewhere...
Also in a gatefold sleeve with the picture inner sleeves.

From memory this was deleted from around 1974,along with the other b&c CLASS albums,but was re released under phonogram around 1977.
