There were a series of these L.P.'s for both Animals and Hermits that issued on both MGM and Quality (with different catalog nos.). My initial research into this is that the MGM issues date to 1964 and 1965 and the Quality issues only start in 1966. Why this happened is unclear, but my guess is that it is linked to some sort of legal or business issue apropos Mickie Most / Reverse Corp. Many of the release dates for the Quality issues herein are clearly incorrect (as they are often quoted as the same year as the initial MGM release). The Mods need to sort this out.

It also seems that the later Animals' issues of 1966 (Animalisms, Animalization) only were released on MGM (Canada). I suspect this may have to do with those releases no longer being part of the Mickie Most / Reverse Corp., realm.

Animal Tracks by The Animals Columbia 33SX 1708 Saturday May 8th 1965 & The 12 Tracks.

The Rousing Rock'n'Roll Music Number Roadrunner are the great track as well.

Wednesday October 7th 1964,The Animals from Newcastle Upon Tyne North East England Columbia 33SX 1669 & The 12 Original Tracks.

Saturday August 25th 1984 I Bought The Original LP of The Animals in Record Shop in Newcastle Upon Tyne Costs £7 & It Is Very Mint Record.

Eric,Alan,Chas,Hilton & John-The Original Animals of The Sixties Music.

Was this and their debut actually released on quality or are these some kind of bootlegs? Out of all the animals LPS I've seen I've never seen one on quality
