The attached YouTube video is obviously the original 1961 Stereo recording overdubbed over a live performance probably from the early 1970s?!? But I've always preferred lip-synch performances over live performances. When I'd see an act perform on, say "American Bandstand", I knew the 45 RPM record I was purchasing would sound exactly like what I saw on TV!!

..."Spanish Harlem" is one of the most perfect recordings ever made, in MY humble opinion!! Now, getting off my soapbox... ♥

Yes it is RecordDragon, click here and turn to page 61. This was their 1st album released in the US.

Is the date here correct? Track B5 released as a single has 1982 on the A-side label.

The reason it charted as late as 8 January might be because the two Saturdays after were Christmas and New years day? not sure
