78rpm-maniac 28th Feb 2022 | | Vinyl AlbumDire Straits - Making Movies (1980) | Wow. Thanks for your additional picture. Funny to see an alternative cover for that record.

78rpm-maniac 23rd Feb 2022 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - The Beatles 1 – Beatles~Mania (1991) | This record looks to be from Romania, because Electrecord was the former country-controlled record-company in those days.

78rpm-maniac 23rd Feb 2022 | | Vinyl AlbumMarcel Dupre - J. S. Bach (1960) | Originally it belongs to German EMI-Mercury-records, and not to Odeon. But the German EMI-pressing plant in Cologne used a white Odeon-Testpressing-label.
78rpm-maniac 18th Feb 2022 | | Vinyl AlbumBilly J. Kramer With The Dakotas - Listen... (1963) | I also own the Stereophonic-Version of that record. PCS-3047
78rpm-maniac 8th Feb 2022 | | Vinyl AlbumElectric Light Orchestra - A New World Record (Un Nuevo Record Mundial) (1976) | On ebay are a Mexican and an Israeli-trader, which have a lot of such Radio-Promo-LPs, Promo-Maxis and so called Promo-Picture-Discs, which are all FAKE, for sale.
Don´t waste your money with such artificial rip-off-articles. They want ridiculous high prices for that records.
78rpm-maniac 8th Feb 2022 | | Vinyl AlbumElectric Light Orchestra - A New World Record (Un Nuevo Record Mundial) (1976) | The LP-Cover is FAKE, not a genuine promo-cover. I have seen a lot of so called radio-station-promo-albums. The records itself are genuine Mexican-issues, but the stickers and covers are FAKE. I have seen Springsteen and Dire Straits-Radio-station-promo-covers, which are clear classified as FAKE-covers. Same with the Israeli-Promo-LP-covers which are also FAKE.

The Black-Golden-London Version seems to be also a special-edition for US-Soldiers in Germany, like the German Elvis Presley-LP-Albums with the special black-silver Dog and Grammophone-Label, which was used to identify such Army-Issues.
