ajtharp 26th Apr 2017		Vinyl Album Joni Mitchell - Blue	Here in the States, barcodes started appearing on the back of CBS distributed albums in the summer of 1979. just a little tidbit of info I thought I'd share while we're on the subject. Additional Comment: April 30th, 2017: Actually, A&M started using barcodes on its album covers as early as January of 1979, about 6 months before CBS were.
