casinosoul 9th Dec 2013		Vinyl Album Mr. Partridge - Take Away / The Lure Of Salvage (1980)	Obviously Andy Partridge 'mucking about' with XTC tracks in a Dub style as follows - A1 - "Refrigeration Blues" ('White Music' LP outtake; the lyrics were a poem called "Signal Ad (Saleable Futurity"). A2 - "Heatwave" (using the backing tracks and slowing them down). A3 - "Millions" (using the percussion tracks and adding guitar and ad-libbed vocals). A4 - "Real by Reel" (using the backing tracks and adding various sounds). A5 - "Pulsing Pulsing" (using the backing tracks and adding various things with poetry inspired by Charlie Parker's "Ornithology"). A6 - "Homo Safari" (sped up backing tracks adding keyboards, vocals and handclaps). B1 - "Helicopter" (improvised guitar/singing/yelling over drums, bass and percussion tracks). B2 - "That Is The Way" (backing track with new sounds added). B3 - "Roads Girdle the Globe" (slowed-down backing track of the bridge with poem and sounds added). B4 - "Red / Day In Day Out" (original beginning, then all nine of Barry Andrews' sax parts from "Red" played simultaneously, and "Day In Day Out" sped up with a new bass line). B5 - "Making Plans For Nigel" (new lyrics and sounds to the backing tracks).
