| | Nice to see the LP sleeve with the spot sticker indicating its on coloured vinyl.
SPOTS 006 presumably to identify the sticker, rather like the spot sticker on the Sex Pistols LP (SPOTS 001), and SPOTS 007 for the first PiL LP. |

| | I never spotted that but Virgin used the OVED prefix on a few other albums, too. Seems to me they were all either E.P.'s, 12" singles or 10" albums. |

| | Gerald (Jerry) Casale did a stint in The Numbers Band as drummer then as a bass player [page 57 "We Are Devo" book], but was kicked out of the band when he put on one of his favourite masks during a gig.
Mark Mothersbaugh once played in a band called Flossy Bobbit.
Alan Myers had played loosely in bands including Tin Huey, and one called Jazz Death [page 114 "We Are Devo" book], and he knew Bob Mothersbaugh.
I had the LP on an orange or orange-red vinyl, but it sounded poor so I replaced it with the later black vinyl pressing.
When Virgin started their budget pressings this LP was given the cat number OVED 1, which spelt backwards seems like too much of a coincidence. |

| | They're drummer used to be in another Ohio band called, The Numbers Band, along with Chrissy Hind's brother on sax. As far as I know, they're still playing today! |

| | I haven't seen it in a while, but I'm pretty sure mine is red. It also came with a single on Philadelphia International records by Dexter Wanzel! Did anybody else get one of those? I mean, it was INSIDE the sealed cover!
I also have an American pressing on black & white marbled vinyl. |
