Duke_J SUBS 3rd Jan 2018		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Honky Tonk Train	This LP could equally have been entered as a Netherlands entry: the Classic Jazz Masters series was edited by a Netherlands team and the cover printed in Holland. However Riverside production seems to have been intended for a pan-Europe market. The catalogue number RM 8806 was printed on the sleeve but has been covered by a sticker with a number presumably intended for distribution in another country, which could be either UK or USA. My copy came from The Diskery, B'ham in the 60s This video shows one of the 78s from which the material was transcribed, Slow Drag Blues by Charles Davenport. Dr. Rookmaker has edited the tracks and other revisions may be uncovered via YT or 78cat [YouTube Video]
