kimbozw 7th May 2019		Vinyl Album 石川さゆり (Ishikawa Sayuri) - ベスト14 (Best 14) (1977)	Thanks. The transliteration of the singer's Japanese name is Ishikawa Sayuri. The song title may have a similar transliteration so that non Japanese speakers can pronounce the song title or at least they can try to do so! Google translator shows the Japanese word for transliteration as 音訳 - I wonder if that makes sense?

John Farrar is shown as the composer but back in the 1930s the true composer was someone else of course. Does anyone know the original artist who recorded DANCIN' presumably in the 1930s and the true composer of the song?

Other cover versions of the song (some in different languages) were hits for Françoise Hardy, Joe Dolan and Anna-Lena Löfgren in various countries.
