kimbozw 10th Mar 2016		Vinyl Album David Bowie - Low (1977)	One of these sold for US$ 1818,50 yesterday according to collectorsfrenzy. It was described there as a white label south African disc. In reality it's a standard Rhodesian issue. :-)

kimbozw 2nd Oct 2015		Vinyl Album Jennifer Rush - Jennifer Rush (International Version) (1985)	Jennifer Rush's first album enjoyed the following chart peaks: #1 - South Africa, Norway, Zimbabwe #2 - Germany, Sweden #3 - Switzerland #7 - UK #10 - Australia #14 - Finland #20 - Holland The words "International version" did not appear on the album in Germany or Switzerland.

Nobody more representative of the wonderful MOTOWN sound than Depeche Mode, bien sur ... :-)

kimbozw 27th Jul 2015		Vinyl Album Shabby Tiger - Shabby Tiger (1976)	20 August 1977 the album charted at #20 on the album sales chart in Rhodesia. The LP had a different cover to this one though. SLOW DOWN was a Top 10 hit single in Rhodesia and South Africa and LOVELY LADY a Top 10 hit in South Africa all in 1977. SLOW DOWN had previously in a slightly different version/mix been a hit single in Holland, Denmark and Sweden back in 1975. Strange that the group failed to chart in the UK with albums or singles.

Charted October 1977 on the non sales based Top 20 on Radio 5 in South Africa peaking at #8 in an 8 week chart stay. Track B6 was also a hit on the same chart. Track A1 was a hit on the Top 10 disco chart on the same station.
