I bought this on CD when it came out, and I didn't realise it had been released on vinyl until last week. I bought it immediately. And so should you.

nboldock 4th Jun 2017		Vinyl Album Hull High School For Girls Choir - Hull Choral Union Carol Concert 1965 (1966)	This isn't dated but I've put 1966 as the concert was a 1965 carol concert so I think it's a fair assumption this was pressed shortly after that. Presumably a private limited pressing of some sort. I was given this yesterday for inclusion in the Hull Music Archive, with thanks to Mr Ian Kennington.

We can take individual cases on their own merits and personally I feel as this is a high profile release with two separate and official release dates that we can categorically identify (the official Bowie site confirms it) then in this case it should be listed out separately for reasons of clarity. However I await feedback from my fellow mods (I think most of them are still in bed at the moment though lol). I suggest an International entry is also required, of course. N.

Can also be bought as a "bundle" with a t-shirt. Yellow vinyl limited edition, also pressed in regular black vinyl - I think both are the same catalogue number / barcode (as far as I can tell). Can be purchased here.

Won't be keeping it but I did give it a needle drop, it's not bad actually, kind of a poor man's Carole King with occasional country tinges. As SRT stuff goes it's okay, albeit not exactly groundbreaking.

It needs swapping out at some point as this image looks like a textured sleeve but the actual record isn't textured (or at least, mine isn't, though it is embossed).

Cobby & Porky (Steve Cobby and Dave Brennand) were the collective brains behind Pork Recordings and have previously recorded together as The Cutler.
nboldock 8th May 2017		Vinyl Album Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds - Live In Germany 1996 (2012)	I suspect this is of dubious legality and the recording quality is far from professional. At first listen I didn't think much to it but a second listen grew on me considerably. It's raw for sure, the mix is all over the place, and the vocals are more than a bit muddy in places, but it's actually a pretty good listen once you get used to the "minimal" production. Not a 10 out of 10 by any means, but still an interesting album...but then he can't really do much wrong, let's be honest...

nboldock 5th May 2017		Vinyl Album Val Doonican - If The Whole World Stopped Loving (1972)	I can't see a definite date on this (typical Contour) but the tracks are copyrighted 1968 to 1970 so I assume this is an early 70s release. The sleeve notes indicate this was his second album on the label. Bought a cheap job lot today hence some cheese like this being added to the database!
