In-store retail release only (not available from internet-only retailers). International release but the UK release date was May 26th, rest of the world June 16th.
No problem N, I'm just in a bit of a funny mood and as Magic "MOD" Marmalade once said "I think I need to open a window". I'm sure it will work itself out but I just couldn't resist an ill conceived attempt at humour. "Que Sera, Sera" and in reality I'm not that concerned more likely just a bit bored because I've got nothing new to enter.
I have raised a topic on the mod forum about this specific release, bear with us while my colleagues respond. We can take individual cases on their own merits and personally I feel as this is a high profile release with two separate and official release dates that we can categorically identify (the official Bowie site confirms it) then in this case it should be listed out separately for reasons of clarity. However I await feedback from my fellow mods (I think most of them are still in bed at the moment though lol).
I suggest an International entry is also required, of course.
This enough to differentiate between a UK and international release "UK release date was May 26th, rest of the world June 16th". Well knock me over with a feather. If I applied this logic to CDs I could make all your European CDs Australian. Starts hatching evil plan and contacting undercover MODS. Hrr, hrrr, herrrrrrr.
Couldn't we just list them all as international and put the different release dates in the notes of one entry?
