old record nut 10th Dec 2019		Vinyl Album Freddy Weller - Freddy Weller (1975)	When I found the album in the close out bin at the five and dime I thought it was old material that Dot had picked up, but it turns out to be a short time he spent on ABC-Dot records making these sessions in 1975. A1 & B1 were BB Country hits then he went back to Columbia.
old record nut 10th Dec 2019		Vinyl Album Rosemary Clooney - Rosemary Clooney Sings Country Hits From The Heart (1963)	Pop singers as a general rule don't sing the way a country artist does and this is the case here. Rosie however does a great job with these songs and some are produced by Chet and have his "Nashville sound" and others are a long way from real country.

Vanity 6 is : Vanity the solo artist with several hits of her own (Denise Mathews),Susan Moonsie & Brenda Bennett,the latter two were part of the group Apollonia 6.Vanity 6 was formed by Prince...and then there's that photo on the cover...

(1991)	I'm somewhat suspicious of this record because on the label is "All rights of the producer and of the work reproduced reserved. Unauthorised copying hiring lending, public performance and broadcasting of this record prohibited" as would be seen on British records and yet at the bottom of the label is " All songs BMI". It could be a boot.

old record nut 19th Nov 2019		Vinyl Album Pat Suzuki - Pat Suzuki (1958)	This album is sometimes referred to as Pat Suzuki - Miss Pony Tail however the front cover and record label show the title as Pat Suzuki and there is no reference to her nick name. It is however printed on the back cover and on the spine.
old record nut 18th Nov 2019		Vinyl Album Diana Ross And The Supremes - Supremes Greatest Hits (1967)	My copy has a stamped "H" in the dead wax however on all 4 sides it is scratched out.I thought mine was a reissue because I got it in the 70s. It has a 1 1/2 inch gold band attached to edge of the Ross portrait that showed on the outside of the cover, and all the pictures are attached together in one strip.Record one has side 1 & 2 record two has side 3 & 4 .
