old record nut 8th Nov 2019		Vinyl Album Ray Stevens - The Best Of Ray Stevens (1970)	Mercury would have done better to reissue the 1962 Ahab album because the original Ahab The Arab is not on this one.The Ahab live track is introduced by Ralph Emery and is from another Mercury album of a DJ convention titled Saturday Night Shindig.

old record nut 21st Sep 2019		Vinyl Album Side Of The Road Gang - Side Of The Road Gang (1976)	Sort of long haired rock band meets country like some others from that era. B2 made #98 on the country BB chart mostly I guess because of the lack of air play. This is great country music in a mid 70s style.Only song I was disappointed with was B5. Horton's original has so much more "drive".

The B side of the hit 45, Witch Doctor b/w Don't Whistle At Me Baby,another rocker was not included on this album.Another rip-off of the teeners.

old record nut 23rd Aug 2019		Vinyl Album Bobby Rydell - Biggest Hits Volume 2 (1962)	I'm having trouble with the back cover because the glue on the back of the "pull off pix" is seeping on to surface of the back cover and making it sticky. I hope others aren't having this issue.
old record nut 23rd Aug 2019		Vinyl Album Bobby Rydell - Bobby's Biggest Hits (1961)	My copy of the gate-fold is different than described by Trainman in that the glamour photo of Bobby in the white sweater with red background is a textured cardboard pull-out with the photo of Bobby in the blue outfit out of sight behind it. The inside photo is a B & W of Bobby in a straw hat and the back cover is the purple background of him in the blue collar and dark sweater.
