Pridesale 13th Nov 2015		Vinyl Album The Giants [England] - The Giants (1964)	Tony Vincent PM'd me through the system This album was actually recorded in polydors Hamburg studios but Paul Murphy who had nothing whatsoever to do with us persuaded Polydor to allow him to remix it and release it as a "live" album. in the studio the tapes were really good but he ruined it. Thats his voice on the album.. I went on to sing with the Ray Charles show in the US. Facebook at Tony Vincents Music Memories.

Pridesale 28th Sep 2015		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Superstars Of The 70's (1973)	Often done on compilations. The artist gets a hit (on a another/competing label) years later, and compiler digs out their previous track - so they compliler label gets a 1/12th per album side cashback. The reverse is true, artist releases a deatbeat track in the next decade / whatever , and true (if maybe how 90% of the public would read first time ), and the compiler short of tracks licenced to them in that timeframe/ artists who made western/bond/ whatever themes compliations bungs in one , two or more of the licenced stuff they do have ! All legal , and its how the industry works. Mind you additional information on when it (track) hit the charts would be nice. Anyway, only 6 tracks a side, you were done, compliations should have 24mins or 8 a side to be worth buying.

Pridesale 1st Sep 2014		Vinyl Album The Giants [England] - The Giants (1964)	Oh, after all that internet work, I dont own an import copy, my one is UK release (sleeve printed in Germany), Polydor(mono?) HI-FI 46 426. Ho Hum. I understand that this disc got close to Nil promotion by Polydor. Internet searching for 'The Giants' manages to bring up US Football etc teams, and probably did in anyone even thinking of asking for this in any record shop in the early 60s. Maybe if the related single release had been around when the pirate radio stations had been in a bigger hayday a couple of years later the combo may have had more record success.

Label is a pale blue , shows on some scans as whitish. This is the kind of record 45worlds is made for ( though its also on discogs ) I have never dared play this in near mint condition , only my finger marks to scan B Side Label spoil it from the day it was made . buy it off me , please..... .

While putting the inner sleeve back I find the 6 page of words ( record sleeve sized ) , is included in this disc , and that Stereo SXL 6142

Pridesale 20th Nov 2013		Vinyl Album Stevie Wonder - Innervisions (1973)	Run Off STMA - 8011 - A - 4 K-6456 SON STMA - 8011 - B - 3 K-6457 SON The SON is scribed quite small , and the B side run out groove is quite narrow with that lettering only just fitting in the small space Printing is not as bad as the scanner suggests , ( having difficulty with focusing and getting colour density right , but the printing is wonky. No idea of sleeve as that was too wet to do anything meaningful with . The centre has a shallow , straight sided depression both sides as the scans indicate.

What 78 presumably is related to this , or is the agmented version a new recording for LP format? Recording Date I Think is 1947 and there is a related US release [YouTube Video] The record I think I found as a carboot left over , it seems unplayed.

This must be one of the last K-tel compilations on vinyl. Plain Inner Sleeve from DRG MALAGO British Patent Nos 107 2844 & 1 125 555 563R Made In Great Britain 10/90 ( so Oct 1990 pressing ? ) 100% Recycled Paper (x1 so may not be this record ) and one die cut unprinted plain sleeve. Disc labels have Wow What A Party ! don'd have disc names just Sides 1, 2, 3, 4.
