SeverlyWarpedRecord 28th Jul 2021		Vinyl Album Ten Years After - A Space In Time (1971)	My Grandpa said that he couldn’t find any records by this band back in the late 60s and 70s despite really wanting one, so this was definitely a surprise when I found it at the Salvation Army for $2.

SeverlyWarpedRecord 10th Jul 2021		Vinyl Album The Smothers Brothers - Mom Always Liked You Best (1965)	I don’t think I’ve ever heard an album like this. It’s a comedy album and an album with beautiful folk music. Very glad I found this in a lot I was given.
SeverlyWarpedRecord 17th Jun 2021		Vinyl Album The Kingsmen - The Kingsmen On Campus (1965)	Why do certain Quality albums have a hole drilled in them? My copy of this album has a drill mark like the one in the images and I have a few others albums made by Quality with the same drill mark. I’ve heard that stores used to do this to Half priced records, but I don’t see them on records from the same periods by artists like Herb Alpert or Harry Belafonte.

SeverlyWarpedRecord 29th May 2021		Vinyl Album The McCoys - Hang On Sloopy (1965)	Passed by this record 3 weeks in a row at the Salvation Army thinking it was a children’s record, until I realized it said ‘The McCoys’ on the cover. Great album, very glad I got it.

SeverlyWarpedRecord 11th Feb 2021		Vinyl Album The Mills Brothers - Fortuosity (1968)	‘Cab Driver’ was The Mills Brothers last top 40 hit. It does not appear in RPM, but it was #10 on CHUM for 2 weeks in March of 1968.
SeverlyWarpedRecord 9th Feb 2021		Vinyl Album Joey Dee And The Starliters - Doin' The Twist At The Peppermint Lounge (1961)	I have added images of the cover. I am unsure is this is in stereo or not because the front says ‘Roulette Full Dimensional Sound’ and there is no other comments on the label or the back about the recording technique.
SeverlyWarpedRecord 9th Feb 2021		Vinyl Album Ollie Strong And Kenny Hepburn - Sleepwalk (1960)	I believe my copy is a later issue from around 1960-1962 because there is an advertisement for a Twist record on the back. It seems that pop records on this label are quite uncommon. I know they made pop 45s that charted, but the only pop albums I have seen is this album. Online I have seen copies of Twangy Guitar by Kenny Hepburn, The Black Plague and 16 Poor Little Fools by Terry Black, but it seems that anything that is not a polka or a sound-alike record on this label is quite uncommon.

SeverlyWarpedRecord 8th Feb 2021		Vinyl Album Frankie Laine - Hell Bent For Leather (1961)	The songs High Noon, The Cry of The Wild Goose, Rawhide, and Mule Train are re-recording of previous hit records by Laine. This version of ‘Rawhide’ is a tamed down version of the song and not the hit recording featured in the TV show.
