Not high charters like in America, but they definitely got airplay, and just from how many copies I’ve seen out there I’d say both sold well in winnipeg. I gotta admit though, the songs on this album are pretty random

SeverlyWarpedRecord 19th Jan 2023		Vinyl Album John Lennon And Yoko Ono - Double Fantasy (1980)	This album would probably be more praised if the Yoko ono songs were on their own separate album. Unlike what most people say, I don’t think her songs are bad but they just aren’t placed very well in this album. John Lennon’s songs are solid late 70s pop rock well hers are this weird new psych-new wave thing. It really makes listening to this album seem like 2 separate albums, but idk if anyone else thinks that

SeverlyWarpedRecord 18th Oct 2022		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Herald The Beat (1957)	I honestly never thought I’d see a copy of this record so I was surprised to see 2 copies at the Winnipeg record sale yesterday. This LP was the only Canadian issue of "Tonite Tonite" and "Story Untold", from what I can tell. Whoever bought it new either heard one of those songs on a Twin Cities radio station or bought it for the Turbans song (which was actually released in Canada on a Reo single).
